Is there a way to donate without using PayMate (e.g. PayPal)?

Sorry, but we use PayMate currently. This is an Australian company (Zilmar lives in Australia) and like PayPal you do not need an account to send money, but this does mean that you need to use a credit card to make a payment.

We used to accept PayPal until they told us basically that simply because Project64 is an emulator they didn't want their name anywhere on our site.. this might seem unfair but they are a large corporation and there is no way we could fight this decision (e.g. by explaining that PJ64 is legal, that we don't offer any copyright material here etc). We understand that PayPal is more popular and would probably get us more donations but because of their unfortunate position on emulation we have to use an alternative.

The Project64 team hope people will care enough about PJ64 to still support us, even though it may take more time and effort to donate now. We believe PayMate to be an honourable company and would never do anything that we thought was risky for our supporters. We hope to offer alternatives for donation in the future, but for now we will stick with one service that seems to work - as this matter has already taken up too much time that could be better spent working on the emulator; we hope you agree!
