One of the things that bothers lots of people when they are full screen is that they don't know what's going on in the emulator when they use keyboard shortcuts for things like save states. A while ago zilmar and I added the capability to display messages to the user for this very purpose in full screen. In the last week or so I decided to make it a little bit nicer, I've also done this in another one of my emulators (hint, hint).

I think it looks rather cool actually, if it looks similar to media center, good, I intended to get it rather close. I will probably post a new build sometime into July 4th weekend that includes this update. Beta members will notice the time in the right hand side of the display, this is something quite a few people asked for I believe!

Ziggy on emutalk released a very experimental LLE graphics plugins for N64 that he started to develop about a month ago. He has called it Z64. It is originally based on the excellent work of Ville Linde in Mame/Mess, even though there isn't much of his own code left, it was the starting point of this project. This will run on project64 1.6. So if you want something new to play with and try LLE graphics emulation for your self give it a try.
You can get all the binaries and information from this emutalk thread.

Apparently the Nintendo Wii uses bluetooth for its wireless devices. A few clever users found a way to use this with Project64 through third-party drivers and software hacks. There is a video up on youtube about this, here's the video below.
The most important thing you'll need to get this working is a bluetooth dongle, you can find these on eBay rather cheap, and obviously a Nintendo Wiimote. I haven't tried this myself, if anyone has we'd be curiuos to here from others!

So the list of supported operating systems for PJ64 will include at least: XP, Vista and the MCE (Media Center) versions of both (if there's time we have planned some features specifically for cabinets&HTPCs)
The question is, should we drop support for Win98&WinME at this point? I think probably we're better off spending our limited time on other things, like MCE support and emulation, but here's your chance to make a case for supporting Win98 - or for dropping it. also, is Win2000 support important to people? Please use the comments if you have any opinions on any of this.
